Kiinalainen pidennetty: Audi A6L vieläpä sähköautona!

Audi A6L:stä on suunnitteilla täyssähköversio, jonka kehitystyötä viedään eteenpäin Kiinan Shanghaissa. Ensimmäisen kerran A6L BEV –malli (Battery Electric Vehicle) esiteltiin lokakuun 30. päivänä viime vuonna Shanghain Jiadingissa. Ensiesittelyn yhteydessä olivat läsnä Kiinan tiede- ja teknologiaministeri Wan Gang sekä Audin johdon hallituksen puheenjohtaja Rupert Stadler.
Audi A6L -sähköautoversion kojelauta näyttää tällaiselta.
Nyt tiettävästi sama autoyksilö osui varsin valmiin näköisenä Auto Bild Suomen haaviin Shanghain automuseon läheisyydessä järjestetyssä erilaisten hybridi- ja sähköautojen koeajo- ja esittelytapahtumassa huhtikuun lopulla. Tämä kertoo siitä, että auton kehitystyötä on edelleen jatkettu. Audi ja Shanghain yliopistollinen Tongji-autolaboratorio ovat yhteistyössä hankkeen takana.
Autolla kerrotaan ensi vaiheessa olevan maksimissaan 130 kilometrin toimintasäde ja 138 kilometrin huippunopeus. Muita teknisiä tietoja ei vielä tässä vaiheessa julkistettu, mutta on oletettavaa, että nyt saavutetut arvot eivät Audin johdolle vielä riitä – ainakaan Euroopan markkinoilla. Päätöstä auton tuotannon aloittamisesta ei vielä ole tehty.
Shangain Tongji-autoyliopisto, jolla on yhteistyötä Suomeenkin, on vahvasti mukana sähköautoprojektissa.
Audi A6L -sähköauton toimintamatkaksi ilmoitetaan 130 km ja huippunopeudeksi 138 km/h.
Audi A6L on parhaiten Kiinassa myyvä suuri luksussedan, sillä se on valtionhallinnon virkamiesten suosiossa. Täyssähköversion tuotannon aloittamisen sijaan näyttäisi kuitenkin siltä, että ensin Audi-Tongjin laboratorion kehitystyön tuloksena nähtäisiin ensin jokin hybridiversio. Audi A6L tai Q5-hybridin voidaan odottaa rullaavan ulos kiinalaisen FAW-VW:n tehtailta jo ensi vuoden aikana.
