Ferrarin uusin tykki sävähdyttää

Genèven autonäyttelyn tähtiin lukeutuu Ferrari Californian facelift. Ensi silmäyksellä mikään ei näyttäisi muuttuneen entiseen malliin verrattuna. Pelkkä ulkokuori ei kerrokaan kaikkea, sillä ulkoisesti mikään ei ole muuttunut. Muutokset ovat pääosin näkymättömiä, sillä niitä on tehty ainoastaan korin ja konepellin alle.
Uusi Ferrari California on kaiken lisäksi 30 kiloa vanhaa mallia kevyempi. Tehokkaassa moottorissa on kuitenkin 30 hevosvoimaa enemmän tehoa. Nyt V8-moottori kehittää 490 hevosvoimaa ja varmistaa 505 Nm maksimiväännön 5000 kierroksella.
Suorituskyky on aika mukavaa luokkaa: Coupé-Cabriolet tempaisee 0–100 km/h rajussa 3,8 sekunnissa, kun edeltäjän lukema merkittiin tasan 4 sekuntia.
Ferrari tarjoaa valinnaisvarusteena Handling Special -pakettia, jossa alustaa on viilattu vielä enemmän ajo-ominaisuuksia korostavaksi. Koriväreissä lienee tarjolla jopa kaksivärivaihtoehtoja.
