Kiinalainen Geely-automerkki teki vuonna 2006 sinänsä hyvin mielenkiintoisen rengastestin, jossa oikea eturengas saatettiin puhkeamaan vauhdissa. Katso lähikameralla kuvattu videopätkä tapahtumasta.
Epäselväksi kuitenkin jää, onko kyseessä kiinalainen Shandong Linglong -merkkinen rengas vaiko jokin muu paikallinen. Joka tapauksessa, kiinalaisten renkaiden maine, varsinkin haastavissa ajo-olosuhteissa, on kyseenalainen.
