Bensiini- ja dieselhybridit joutuvat lisäverolle 1.1. 2013

Suomalaisen autoilun verotusmyllerrys jatkuu. Vuoden 2013 alussa henkilöautojen käyttövoimavero eriytyy tarkemmin käyttövoiman mukaan, ja tiedossa on taas aivan uusia aluevaltauksia verottajalta.
Verokarhun syleilyyn joutuvat ensi vuonna ensimmäistä kertaa myös hybridit sekä maakaasuautot. Maailman myydyimmän bensiinihybridin, Toyota Priuksen käyttövoimavero on autoyksilön kokonaismassasta riippuen reilut 30 euroa vuodessa, mutta Peugeotin 3008 Hybrid4-dieselhybrideillä noin 10-kertainen, eli vuositasolla yli 300 euroa
Keskimäärin 1 800 kilon kokonaismassan maakaasuauton vuotuinen käyttövoimavero on ensi vuonna reilut 200 euroa. Käyttövoimaveroa keskikokoisesta sähköautosta, esimerkiksi Nissan Leafista, joutuu maksamaan hieman reilut 100 euroa vuodessa.
Käyttövoimaverot henkilöautoilla ovat 1.1.2013 alkaen:

Myös perusvero nousee
Dieselkäyttöisten henkilöautojen käyttövoimavero eli dieselvero aleni kuluvan vuoden alusta 6,7 sentistä 5,5 senttiin per päivä auton jokaiselta alkavalta 100 kilolta. Alennus on tasan 18 prosenttia.
Ajoneuvoveron perusvero sen sijaan nousee vuodeksi 2013. Vuoden 2013 alusta voimaan tuleva perusveron nousu koskee kaikkia perusveron alaisia autoja. Mikäli ajoneuvon ainoa käyttövoima on sähkö, määräytyy perusvero päästötiedon 0 g/km mukaan, eli perusveroa ei peritä.
Liikenteen osuus Suomen kaikista hiilidioksidipäästöistä on noin viidesosa. Noin 80 prosenttia liikenteen päästöistä syntyy tieliikenteestä.
